Tracy Sims

Tracy Sims is a lifelong Jersey City resident with over 50 years of deep, personal roots in Ward A. Born and raised in Jersey City, Tracy attended PS 34 and graduated from Dickinson High School, where he proudly played football as team captain. His commitment to service and community began early and has remained steady throughout his life.

A retired Jersey City Board of Education employee with 18 years of dedicated service, Tracy also spent over 15 years coaching Little League baseball and Jersey City recreational football. He lead his teams to five consecutive championship titles and mentored countless young men. Many of them have gone on to serve in the military, Fortune 500 companies, the police force, and the local school system.

Professionally, Tracy is a licensed insurance broker, Medicare specialist, Medicaid advisor, and seasoned realtor with over 25 years of experience. After retiring from the Board of Ed, he returned to school in 2005 to earn his real estate license and later, in 2014, his broker's license. He has spent the last decade assisting seniors with Medicare and Medicaid plans, prescription assistance applications, and financial guidance.

Tracy also cared for his mother during her battle with cancer, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to family and service. His volunteer work includes serving hungry families through Lisa's Networking Group in Ward A.

As a candidate for Ward A, Tracy Sims is ready to listen, act, and lead. His goal is to improve the quality of life for all residents and be a constant, accessible presence in the community he proudly calls home.
